The humming will never be over!!!

Hey,Sam Cooke fans!



This is my first post about my idol,the late,great SAM COOKE!



I guess having a blog where i can express my feelings on this unusually gifted man who died over 40 years ago. I am 44 years old man and i have been a fan for most of my life. It's rarely a day that goes by that i dont think about SAM in some way.

With the recent passing of a giant singer and perforner the late great MICHAEL JACKSON,i couldn't help but to think about the lose of SAM COOKE. It seems like a musical cliche that we loose our great artist early. Atleast with Michael,we saw him excell to the highest of highs. You couldn't get any higher than he did. With SAM COOKE we are eternally left to wonder what could have been and would have been!

Here is a man with a voice from GOD who was also a great song writer. He had already established him self as a consistent hit-maker,so we know he would have went even higher had he lived to the 1970's and beyond. The scary thing is that what if " A CHANGE IS GONNA COME" was just the tip of the iceberg???!

Even 40+ years after his death people are still talking about SAM COOKE and young singers are still being influenced by him. I suppose that it's just like the radio jockey MAGNIFICIENT MONTIGUE said at the conclusion of an interview with SAM,..."When the humming is over and time has found it's soul,they will say that SAM OOKE is yours,he will never grow old...." the humming will never be over!
